Sakari is a Finnish film director based in London and Helsinki. He received his MA in Documentary Directing from the prestigious National Film and Television School in the UK. His films have been awarded and featured in international film festivals world wide, screened at BAFTA and BFI in London and broadcasted in YLE's documentary strand. 

His first feature documentary Koho – Utopia Forssasta financed by the Finnish Film Foundation, The Finnish National Broadcasting Company YLE, and AVEK, is premiering at Docpoint 2022 documentary film festival and will have its broadcasting premiere at the YLE in spring 2022.

Apart from developing his own projects, Sakari is directing, shooting and editing commissioned work.
